As a wedding and engagement photographer, I always look forward to Valentine’s Day and hearing about all the romantic stories of newly engaged couples as they begin their wedding journey. It’s no secret that wedding planning can seem overwhelming at first, but as far as photography goes, my goal is to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.
One of the first steps in the wedding planning process often includes an engagement photo session. Engagement photos are a wonderful way to capture the first stages of your love story so that you can preserve the memories for a lifetime and look back on where your journey began. If you’re planning on using your engagement photos for your save the dates, you’ll want to schedule at least four months prior to your wedding date to allow time for processing, printing, mailing, and allowing your guests to plan their schedules.
