The wedding industry has changed drastically in the last few months due to COVID-19, and elopements and micro-weddings have become a popular and practical way for couples to safely tie the knot. See the Point Judith Elopement. I have had the opportunity to work with many couples recently whose big days have been put on hold but still wanted a small ceremony to celebrate their marriage. I currently offer a variety of economical wedding packages and am always willing to work with clients to create a package tailored to your unique needs.
Last weekend, I had the chance to photograph a beautiful Point Judith elopement in Rhode Island. The couple’s original plan was to host a celebration in September and another in the groom’s hometown in October, but both have been postponed to 2021. In spite of these last-minute changes, they were still able to have a special and intimate ceremony by the water. The elopement took place at Fishermen’s Memorial State Park, a gorgeous area chosen by the couple for their shared love of Rhode Island and the ocean.
In these uncertain times, it is a real joy to be able to capture special moments like these. If your wedding has been affected by COVID-19, I am happy to work with you and help make your elopement or micro-wedding as beautiful and magical as can be.
